CWA 1036 Celebrates Black History Month at NJDEP

On February 25, CWA 1036 Members at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection celebrated 100 years of Black History. 

In a time where the Federal Government attempts to erase the contributions of black culture to the foundation of the United States, we stand in solidarity with our Black Environmental Solidarity Team (BEST) members at DEP who dedicated their time and energy to organize a wonderful program for their colleagues commemorating the struggles and victories of African Americans. CWA 1036 proudly helps to sponsor Employee Resource Groups organizing events for their communities and workplaces. Through education and solidarity, we can foster more diverse and inclusive workplaces and build a more equal society.
