CWA 1036 Donates to L.A. Wildfire Relief Efforts

CWA members are supporting the victims of the devastating  L.A. wildfires. 

The Executive Board approved donations totaling $5,000 among several relief organizations. 

If you want to help, here are a few organizations doing incredible work on the ground in California. 

• CWA District 9 Disaster Relief Fund - specifically helping CWA members affected by the fire
• Labor Community Services LA – LA County Federation of Labor is helping union members with food and shelter 
• Pasadena Humane Society – has taken in over 400 animals from the Eaton Fire
• World Central Kitchen - provides meals to the LA community
• California Red Cross - shelter for displaced fire victims
• LA Fire Department Foundation – official non-profit arm of Los Angeles City Fire Department directly supporting fire and EMS personnel
