AT&T Southeast Workers on Strike

As of September 15, 2024, workers and AT&T have reached a tentative agreement and are no longer on strike.

Since this past June, CWA represented AT&T workers have been bargaining with AT&T in hopes of securing a fair contract. AT&T has refused to bargain in good faith and as a result, over 17,000 CWA workers elected to go on an unfair labor practice strike across District 3.

In response, AT&T has pulled in underqualified scab subcontractors to maintain their network coverage. The customer service agents and maintenance workers who keep AT&T Southeast running deserve good faith negotiations that demonstrate respect for their work and humanity. AT&T has even gone so far as to refuse to bargain on mandatory subjects and has refused to send a representative with decision-making authority to negotiations, further demonstrating the need for AT&T workers to stand together on the picket line.

You can directly support AT&T workers by signing this solidarity petition demanding AT&T to return to the bargaining table ready to negotiate a fair contract.

This Labor Day, CWA Local 1036 stands with striking AT&T workers across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
