2025 Winter Scholarships

Union Plus Scholarship 

Awards range from $500 to $4000 and union members are eligible to reapply each year. 

Academic Year: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 

Eligibility: Current and retired members of unions participating in any Union Plus program, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations) are eligible. Grandchildren are not eligible unless a legal dependent (as defined by IRS regulations).  At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one-year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31, 2026.

Burlington County Miss Saint Patrick Scholarship 

Scholarship Award Amount is $1,000. 

Eligibility:  Interested applicants should be between the ages of 15 & 23 be a resident of Burlington County and/or attend school in Burlington County and/or have relatives or a sponsor who belongs to an local Irish organization or belong to one themselves in South Jersey or the Philadelphia area (AOH, parade committee, Irish Dance Group, Emerald Society, South Jersey Celtic Society etc.)  The chosen recipient will be crowned by this year’s Parade Grand Marshal, at the Grand Marshal Dinner in February 2025. On Saturday, March 1, 2025, she will ride at the front of the Burlington Co St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Mt Holly, New Jersey.

CWA National Joseph Bierne Scholarship

CWA National Union's 2025-2026 Joe Beirne Scholarship Application is open until April 30th, 2025!

There are sixteen (16) partial college scholarships of $4,000 each for two years. Eligible for the scholarships are CWA members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren, including the dependents of retired, laid-off, or deceased members. Applications will be available solely online for submission on the Foundation’s website.
