2023 Student Loan Debt Scholarships Awarded

The officers and members of the CWA Local 1036 Executive Board and Education Committee are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 CWA Local 1036 Member Student Loan Debt Assistance Scholarship.  

Due to the overwhelming response, we are thrilled that we were able to expand the number awarded to 12 scholarships at $2,000.00 each.  

The following recipients were selected via lottery among over 80 applications.

2. Hannah Hunt – Member from the NJ State Department of Health

3. Gabrielle Pintauro – Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

4. Bianca Esposito – Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

5. Erica Najar – Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

6. Julia Galayda – Member from NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

7. Michelle Hughes – Member from NJ State Department of Environmental Protection 

8. Emily Perez – Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

9. John Kerr – Member from the NJ State Department of Agriculture

10. Jessica Bagtas – Shop Steward from NJ State Department of Environmental Protection 

11. Carmen Tomasheski – Member from NJ State Judiciary

12. Bhavan Mehta – Member from NJ State Judiciary
