State Worker Paycheck Modification Announcement

Notice a small decrease in your paycheck this pay period? No need to worry, all state workers will see a slight change in their paycheck issued on July 18th for pay period 15.2024. There are normally 260 working days each fiscal year, but the new fiscal year which began on July 1st has 261 working days. So, pay between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025 is divided over 261 days versus 260 days. This happens every few years. 

For our members in the Judiciary, both JCAU and PNCR unit members received a 3.5% increase as of July 1, which should be reflected in your next paycheck.  Because of the extra day in the fiscal year, that increase might be slightly less than you expected in this paycheck, but ultimately, your annual salary will equal the correct amount.

All CWA State Executive Branch members will receive the contractually negotiated 3.5% across-the-board increase effective pay period 16-2024, which will appear in the August 2nd paychecks, and all Judiciary (JCAU & PNCR) CWA members will receive the contractually negotiated 3.5% across-the-board increase this week.
