Monmouth County Central Labor Council Scholarship
Deadline: April 2, 2026
Open to all CWA 1036 members in good standing. (CWA 1036 is an affiliate of the Bergen County CLC, applicants do not need to live in Bergen County.)
Middlesex & Somerset Counties Central Labor Council Scholarship
Deadline: April 7, 2026

Mercer County Central Labor Council
Deadline: April 27, 2026
Open to all CWA 1036 members in good standing. (CWA 1036 is an affiliate of the Mercer County CLC, applicants do not need to live in Mercer County.)
CWA Joe Bierne Scholarships
Award Amount: $4,000 each
Deadline: April 30, 2026
Sixteen partial college scholarships of $4,000 each are being offered for the 2026-2027 school year. Winners, selected in a lottery drawing, also will receive second-year scholarships of the same amount contingent upon satisfactory academic accomplishment. Part-time students, less than 12 credits, will receive half of the scholarship monies.
Eligible for the awards are CWA members and their spouses, children and grandchildren, including those of retired or deceased members.
Applicants must be high school graduates or at least high school students who will graduate during the year in which they apply. Undergraduate and graduate students returning to schooling may also apply. Prior winners may not reapply.
Burlington County Central Labor Council Scholarship
Deadline: May 4, 2025
Open to all CWA 1036 members in good standing. (CWA 1036 is an affiliate of the Burlington County CLC, applicants do not need to live in Burlington County.)
