2023 CWA Local 1036 Member Student Loan Debt Assistance Scholarship Awardees

The officers and members of the CWA Local 1036 Executive Board and Education Committee are pleased to announce that the recipients of the 2023 CWA Local 1036 Member Student Loan Debt Assistance Scholarship have been selected.  Due to the overwhelming response, we are thrilled that we are able to award 12 scholarships at $2,000.00 each.  The following recipients were selected.

3. Ashley Graff - Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

4. Luis Lacourt - Member from the Burlington County Library 

5. Ashia McRae - Shop Steward from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection 

6. Deelip Mhaske - Member from the NJ State Department of Agriculture 

7. Robert Newby - Shop Steward from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

8. Emily Perez - Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection 

9. Mark Ortega - Member from the NJ State Department of Environmental Protection

10. Kristie Winks - Member from the Burlington County Library 

11. Kevin Zolea - Member from the NJ Sate Department of Agriculture 

12. Carla Leonard - Member from the NJ State Department of Human Services 

Congratulations to Harriet, Shaina, Ashley, Luis, Ashia, Deelip, Robert, Emily, Mark, Kristie, Kevin & Carla.  Also, a big thank you to the 116 members who submitted applications.  We will continue to offer this scholarship annually so please try your luck again next year!
