Full Text of the new 2020-2024 Contracts will be posted in early 2021. 

 

Burlington County members ratified new contracts effective January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2022. The new contracts provide retroactive increases for 2020 and raises in January 2021 and January 2022, as well a job security and union recognition for part-time employees. The new contracts were approved by members in the Nonsupervisory, Supervisory, Superintendent of Elections, and Prosecutor's Clerical units. Thank you to the Bargaining Committees, Stewards, and members in all groups.

UPDATE - VOTING RESULTS

Voting closed at 1pm on Tuesday 9/15. Ballots were automatically tallied at 1pm since voting was online. 

Yes I approve: 111 Votes = 78%

No I reject: 31 Votes = 22%

The Tentative Agreement was approved. Thank you to everyone who voted. 

 


Hunterdon County Rank and File members are voting on a tentative agreement providing for a wage payment for 2020 while we continue negotiations for a multi-year contract to include annual increases, health benefits, title adjustments and other issues.

Voting: 

Voting is open now through 1pm on Tuesday, 9/15. 

Voting is being conducted online rather that in-person due to social distancing requirements. Secret ballots were emailed to all County rank-and-file members on the evening of Thursday 9/10. The email ballots have a unique ID for each member and will take you to a secure website to cast your vote. Results will be broadcast on Tuesday 9/15.

Hunterdon Rank and File members ratified a new contract today by a margin of 68% to 32%. The new contract will cover January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2019. 

Thank you to everyone who voted and to our bargaining  committee. Although this contract passed, we still have more work to do on salary adjustments and other issues. Stay tuned for a membership meeting schedule for the second half of 2017 and updates will be coming to Stewards and Activists.
